A room holds a different number of people depending on how it is set, so every figure below sits beside the layout it belongs to. Two spaces qualify. The rest are described as event spaces by a directory rather than by the venue, and they stay out until that is settled.

The venue’s own site says up to 180 seated and never says at which layout. That figure and the banquet figure above cannot both describe the same room set the same way, so bring the question to your tour and get it in writing.

The reception
The Dairy Barn
A working dairy once stood here. The restoration kept the timber posts and cut a wall of windows into the pasture side, so the room holds light until it doesn’t, and then the festoons take over.
It is the only space the venue names on its own website, and it doubles as a ceremony room. Whether it can hold a ceremony and a reception at once, and what the turnaround looks like, is a question for the tour.

What a booking covers, and what isn't written down yet
These are the five things couples ask first. Where the venue has an answer on record, it is here. Where it doesn't, that is said plainly instead of dressed up.
- Exclusivity
- The venue has called the day exclusively yours for years without ever writing down what that covers. So we won’t either. Ask whether one wedding runs per day, and whether the cottages and the grounds come with it.
- Wet weather
- Couples have written publicly about rain being handled well here. There’s no published plan sitting behind those reviews. Three questions close it: which space becomes the backup, what time the call is made, and whether switching costs anything.
- Catering
- The site reads as in-house, with a chef and wait staff. One third-party directory says you can bring your own caterer. Those two can’t both hold, so treat the answer as unconfirmed until the venue gives it to you directly.
- Price
- No figures are published anywhere today, and inventing a band would waste your time and ours. The pricing page sets out how a quote is built and what moves it, and the guide carries the numbers.
- Staying on
- There are cottages on the property, named after cattle runs held from the Yandina head station in 1856. Guests wake up where they danced. How many beds there are in total is one of the figures the venue still needs to settle.
Having the brand-new cottages on-site was a massive game-changer, as they comfortably slept our entire wedding party and made the whole weekend feel like a private celebration. Tracey and Mishaela were absolute superstars throughout the entire process. They were so helpful, organised, and attentive that it honestly felt like having our own personal wedding planners without actually having to hire one.
