Six ceremony locations, named

Tree cover does most of the work here. The Pavilion Deck sits under trees, so its light arrives broken and moves as the canopy moves. The Mt Coolum Lawn has nothing between it and the sky, which makes the hour matter more than the lens does. The other locations fall somewhere between those two and none of them has been described in enough detail to say where.

The barn is the outlier. A wall of windows runs down the pasture side, so it holds daylight far later than a shed has any right to, and once that goes the festoons take over and the room turns warm. Photographers shooting inside it end up on a different white balance to the ones who shot the ceremony an hour earlier. You can see the shift in the gallery, and we’ve sequenced the pages so it reads as the day moving rather than as a mistake.

What no one has published is a compass bearing or a recommended ceremony hour for any of the six. We are not going to estimate one from a photograph. If you have a photographer booked, bring them to the tour and stand in the spot at the hour you intend to marry. That is a twenty-minute answer that no page can give you.
