Accommodation on the property
Three cottages, each with two bedrooms, named after cattle runs held from the Yandina head station in 1856. They sit among gums and Moreton Bay Figs with decks facing the pasture.
Bed configurations and rates are not published yet, so allocate rooms with the events team rather than from a table. Accommodation details and booking.
The working day
Sessions in the barn
The Dairy Barn is the main session space. It takes theatre, boardroom and banquet layouts, and it is the room the evening meal is served in, so the day does not require a change of venue at six o’clock.
Audiovisual equipment and wifi speed are not documented. Send your technical rider with your enquiry and confirm what is in the room before you plan a live-streamed session.
Off the agenda
What the property gives you
Yandina Station is a working cattle run, not a conference hotel with a lawn. The ground itself is the break between sessions.
Paddocks and tracks
Walking distance from the barn, with the ridgeline in view. Groups use it to move between sessions rather than sit through a long afternoon.
The Bando Brahman stud
Cattle are still run here. The stud is part of the working property, not a display, which is what makes a site visit worth the trip.
Team activities
No activity list is published. Tell us what your group needs and the events team will tell you what can run on the property and what has to come in.
Catering
The property has catered functions since December 1996. Current menus and dietary handling are quoted per event rather than published.
