Yandina Creek, Queensland
Conference and corporate venue capacity
Four rooms, four layouts, one table. Beds on site. Twenty kilometres from Sunshine Coast Airport.
Capacity by room
Figures are per room, per layout. They come from the Business Events Sunshine Coast listing and the venue has not yet confirmed them, so treat them as a shortlisting guide and confirm the number you need before you commit a budget.
| Room | Theatre | Banquet | Cocktail | Boardroom |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Dairy Barn | Theatre 210 | Banquet 150 | Cocktail 300 | Boardroom 54 |

The Coach House and The Homestead appear as event spaces on a third-party listing and nowhere on the venue’s own site. Their availability is unresolved, so no figures are published for them here. Ask about them directly.

The room
The Dairy Barn
The barn is the working reception space and the only room the venue names on its own site. It takes the largest figures in the table above. Windows open onto the valley, and the room is used for plated service, cocktail rounds and theatre seating.
Seated capacity is contested across sources. Three numbers are in circulation for one room, which is why the table separates layouts and why no single figure appears in a headline anywhere on this site. Confirm the layout you need.
Multi-day
Residential conferences
Beds, barn and airport in one location. Delegates sleep where the sessions run, which removes the transfer from a two-day agenda.
The cottages sit a short walk from the barn. Agendas that run past dinner do not need a coach back to Mooloolaba. See how a residential programme works.
November and December
Christmas parties and end-of-year functions
December books out early on the Sunshine Coast. The barn takes a full company at a cocktail layout and a smaller team at long tables, and the same table above applies. Enquire from about August if you want a Friday in December.
Teams travelling in from Brisbane or interstate can stay over rather than arrange transport at the end of the night. Cottage availability for a function date is worth checking at the same time as the room.

End-of-year functions
Long tables in the barn, or a cocktail layout when the whole company is coming.

Stay after the function
Cottages on the property, so nobody is driving home at midnight.

Turn it into two days
A planning session in the morning, the function that night.
Straight answers
What is not published yet
Four things a planner will ask that this venue has never put in writing. They are listed rather than guessed.
- Day delegate rate. No published figure exists. Quoted per enquiry.
- Audiovisual specification and wifi speed. Not documented anywhere.
- Breakout room count and sizes. The table above lists rooms, not a breakout plan.
- Purchase orders and invoicing on account. Confirm with the events team before you raise a requisition.
