The cottages

Two bedrooms, living space opening onto a timber deck, and full kitchen facilities. They sit among eucalyptus and Moreton Bay Figs with views over grazing pasture. The cottages won the 2011 Sunshine Coast Master Builders Award for Tourism Development.

Each one carries the name of a cattle run held from the Yandina head station in 1856. Whidlka-Whidlka, Pooreema and Canando.

What is out the door

Cattle are still run here. That is the reason to come, and it is not a decorating theme.

Staying for a wedding on the property

Couples and guests looking at accommodation as part of an event want a different set of answers: which cottages go to the couple, what happens the morning after, and how the rest of the party is housed nearby.

That is covered on wedding venue with accommodation on the Sunshine Coast. This page is for a stay booked on its own.

Questions about staying

Is there accommodation on site?
Yes. There are guest cottages on the property, named Whidlka-Whidlka, Pooreema and Canando after three of the four cattle runs held from the Yandina head station in 1856.
